After 9 years of researching and experimenting on myself, friends and my children I decided it was time to formalise my knowledge with a year long study of nutrition and holistic health. Further to knowledge I had garnered from my degree in psychology, the information I gathered confirmed my belief that whilst gut healing is paramount when it comes to optimum health, food is not the only factor.
As a Health coach I will work with you to assess exactly where you are currently at, and where you would like to be with your health 6 months down the track. Once that is established we will work together to set achievable goals and take baby steps to ensure that this is met through sustainable, long-term, achievable food and lifestyle changes.
We will throw away the old beliefs that the key to health is restriction of calories and fat.
I will provide you with easy recipes and a food and supplement shopping guide, all of which will be working on removing inflammation and gut healing.
As well as fortnightly or monthly (whichever suits you) one-on-one sessions I provide e-mail contact in between to answer any questions and support you through the whole journey. The support I provide is fundamental to helping you reach your goals. There will be wobbles on the way, I am there to pick you up and ensure you get back on track.
If you want a quick fix, you have come to the wrong place. I liken quick fixes to putting a bandaid over cracks. When those bandaids lose their effectiveness, the cracks get bigger, until cracks become holes which are near impossible to climb out of.
The good news is I can guide you through long term change, and one day you will wake up and realise that you have given yourself the greatest gift, you have taken control back of your life, and your health.
And you can throw away your bandaids.
